1 drop of pus legally allowed in your glass of milk

Mechanical milking is common in majority of dairy farms

Pus. Due to constant milking, 1 in 6 dairy cows udders develop mastitis. This is painful for cows, which leads to pus, and the pus gets sucked in with the milk during the mechanical milking in most large factory farms. Perhaps because this is so common, governments allow about 1 drop of pus in a glass of milk, and some countries have no maximum level at all. Since packaged milk is pasteurized with high heat, the pus is not harmful to humans, but it is still legally allowed to be present inside.

Cancer. Prostate cancer the most common cancer in men. A meta-analyses of 42 studies showed an increase in risk of prostate cancer from eating any dairy products, and an increase in risk of the cancer of the uterus. More in this video.

Hormones. IGF-1 is a hormone that can be absorbed or stimulated from eating dairy, which is linked to several cancers. The hormones in milk also lead to about 1% the amount of estrogen found in birth control pills, and reduced sperm  count and mobility. Cow milk causes a crash in testosterone and rise in estrogen in men and women. And indicates an early onset of a woman’s first period.
