Gut health = Poop health

Massive study in Oxford found that people on vegan diets are 3 times more likely to be regular. They poop 7% more than vegetarians and 20% more than omnivores. Regular movement is an important way to prevent constipation, diarrhea, and colon related diseases. [Journal of Public Health Nutrition]

The gut bacteria of people who eat animal products like eggs, beef, pork and fish cannot safely digest animal proteins, which later gets oxidized in the liver and releases TMAO [Trimethylamine oxide] which is linked to higher risk of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disorders. [Gut journal]
